Make your mornings a breeze!

The first step, prepare your outfits!
It will take 5 minutes the night before and save you the hassle of a 30-minute wardrobe crisis in the morning. If you’re super organized, you can even plan all the week’s outfits on Sunday. It’s one less thing to think about while you’re trying to round up the rest of the family.
If you have kids, you may be familiar with the ‘no shorts and sandals are not appropriate on a rainy day’ kind of conversation, which generally happens 10 minutes before it’s time to leave home. Get them involved in choosing their own clothes. Let your child’s fashion flare shine on Sunday evening, with the weather forecast in hand! Set the clothes aside and label them by day. You will see your kids being more independent for school mornings and, above all, avoid nagging, stressful morning conversations.
Breakfast is essential!
But, preparation and tidy up can be time-consuming. Think of some recipes that can be prepared the night before and that don’t mean pulling out numerous different items from the fridge and pantry. Command station, you ask? It’s that magical area in your house where you find your car keys, house keys, handbag, briefcase, mobile phones, the shopping list, the monthly calendar, and so much more. Well, maybe now it’s not quite like this, but it is never too late! Choose an angle in the house, preferably near the front door or the kitchen. Set up some key hooks and bag hooks. Put some containers or baskets and start consistently putting all those easy-to-misplace items at the command station every single time you come into the house. It will make for less frantic mornings!
The key is also getting enough sleep the night before. Late nights will result in late mornings. And tantrums. However, early to bed, means early to rise, and above all, it means more chilled mornings!
